SafePlay People SafePlay Management Team Jeff Speake – Director Neil Thornton – Project Manager Peter McLennan – Design Consultant Travis Morgan – Business Development Manager Andrew Riddle – Territory Manager Lesley Speake – Administration Manager Jeff Speake, Director Jeff has qualifications in Sales Management and Marketing, establishing Safe Play Systems Pty Ltd in 1993. Prior to running his own business he was Product Marketing Manager for a major Australian public company. He has extensive experience in playscape design, public consultation and managing projects. Many of these projects have required consultation contact with local residents, interest groups, local committees and clubs. He has been on the Committee of Management of the Playground & Recreation Association of Victoria (PRAV) since 1994 and Vice President for 10 years from 1997 until September 2007. In recognition of his efforts and support of the work of PRAV, Jeff was awarded PRAV Life Membership in October 2007. Jeff provides input on design, plan presentation, development costs, project management and liaison with clients, suppliers and contractors. Neil Thornton, Project Manager Neil has qualifications in the discipline of Mechanical Design Drafting. He combines creative design skills and knowledge of play equipment, materials and ancillaries to produce considered concept plans and documentation with cadd programmes and hand graphics. He possesses all-round skills from on-site surveying through to project documentation, customer liaison and project/production coordination. He assists with all aspects of project development from consultation, design philosophy, product delivery and project management. Neil is responsible for special projects and also assists in the running of playground projects, operations and coordination of suppliers/contractors. Peter McLennan, Design Consultant Peter has qualifications in Structural Steel Fabrication and has worked for leading playground companies as a Design Manager and Senior Product Designer/Engineer. He has extensive experience in community consultation, facilitation of artwork as well as project management and implementation. He was on the committee of management of the Playground & Recreation Association of Victoria (PRAV) for six years and still lectures on playground design at PRAV's training courses. Peter was also a member of the Standards Australia Technical Committee CS/5 - Playground Equipment from 1989 to 1995. Peter coordinates the design aspects of various projects and liaises with project stakeholders, suppliers and contractors on the construction and implementation of the playscape design. Travis Morgan, Business Development Manager Travis has a Diploma in Business Leadership and over twelve years of sales and marketing experience in the sport and recreation field. While it is his major role to expand SafePlay's customer base, his key attribute is to provide direct client contact and communication through prompt follow up and efficient service. His focus is to provide the highest levels of service to the design team and customers, enabling the team to produce the desired project outcomes for SafePlay clients. Travis works diligently with the project team to ensure they consistently deliver their services to the satisfaction of the client. Andrew Riddle, Territory Manager Andrew has an extensive background in corporate sales over the past fifteen years, which also includes owning his own Photography business. His experience, together with a Diploma in Marketing, has enabled Andrew to develop the key ability of interpreting clients' requirements, resulting in the best possible project outcome. Andrew's passion in providing the highest levels of customer service ensures that projects are delivered on time and on budget. Lesley Speake, Administration Manager Lesley is a Company Director of Safe Play Systems and Administration Manager. While she has an Associate Diploma in Applied Science, it is her ability to keep operations on track and running smoothly that makes her an integral part of the project team. Lesley oversees all aspects of SafePlay's operations, administration and finances. She is the main point of contact for matters relating to accounts and finances.

Jeff Speake, Director
