Prior to the new play equipment being installed in 1998 the playground at Bellbird Dell was a dusty massive mound with a big slide and an old timber fort. The locals loved the long slide, but in order to comply with the current safety standards, significant changes had to be made.
After considerable earthworks and landscaping, the result is a multi-level play space with a separate area for a triple swing and seesaw on the top of the mound and a separate dedicated play area, set into the side of the mound.
The play area comprises a separate junior and senior play structures, spring rockers and a vast range of play activities featuring a long slide.
Children of all ages enjoy the facility, particularly as it fronts onto a well-used path and bike track. Bellbird Dell Reserve in Vermont is a park where people of all ages can step out and enjoy the open space.
