The project brief from the City of Whitehorse was simple - 'tidy up this pocket-park'
The Linsley Street Reserve playground is nestled between a car park and road, adjacent to a walkway, opposite the railway line, at the rear of the Box Hill Library. It called for a compact, bright and happy play structure, suitable for young children.
The result was a small play structure with a number of climbing and sliding play activities including a curved slide and mountain climber as well as a contemporary curved roof. The play structure continues to keep young children interested and occupied on the way to or from the library.
