When designing Junior Playgrounds, SafePlay is catering for the developing needs of younger children. SafePlay Playgrounds offer a diverse range of active and passive play choices as well as excellent opportunities for parents to supervise or join in.
When designing Junior Playgrounds, we believe that providing a balanced array of activities is paramount. Their diverse range of physical abilities demands that equipment be capable of allowing children to extend their developing skills and social interaction.
Orbit play structures provide children with an exciting and interesting play experience. The non-structured play format of Orbit encourages children to explore their environment and allows them to be creative with how they use and interpret the equipment.
Orbit provides a vast range of play opportunities that are well suited to children six years and over while our traditional play equipment can be designed to include activities suitable for anyone from toddlers to teens.
An integral part of any playground is its safety surface. Rubber surfacing and pathways provide a smooth, stable and level surface suitable for wheeled access.
Complying with Australian Standards, SafePlay rubber surfacing is laid on site and can be configured to virtually any shape or size.
A wide range of colours, patterns, numbers, letters, logos or specific themes can be incorporated to add play value to the safety surface.
Keeping playgrounds interesting and fun for older children can be a significant challenge. By including a range of play activities with graduated levels of physical challenge as well as spaces for socialising or just hanging out, older children have the increased incentive for play and social interaction.
The Whirlwind (4.5m high) is constructed from galvanised steel (powder coated to preferred colour) and has one basket seat that can hold up to four children. The basket seat is supported from a heavy duty universal bearing offering both spinning and swinging motion. It makes a terrific play item that will serve the community for many years.
