Project Overview

Welcome to Apex Park, the ultimate community-driven play space that celebrates the agricultural heritage of Glengarry! The park is a shining example of how a community can come together to create an exciting and engaging play space that reflects their interests and values. The park’s play equipment was carefully selected in consultation with Latrobe City Council and the local community, with a focus on creating a play space that celebrates the area’s farming history.

The range of play equipment at Apex Park is designed to provide children of all ages with opportunities for active play and social interaction. The large climbing structure challenges children to test their physical abilities while promoting the development of gross motor skills and spatial awareness. The triple swing and backhoe also provide opportunities for children to engage in cooperative play and social interaction, promoting the development of social skills and emotional wellbeing.

But that’s not all – the park’s unique design and equipment also provide children with the opportunity to learn about the local area’s history and culture. From the tractor to the model cows, children can engage with the farming theme and gain a greater appreciation of the importance of agriculture in Glengarry.

Overall, Apex Park is a fantastic example of how a community can come together to create a play space that celebrates their heritage and values while promoting physical activity and social connection. So come and visit Apex Park and experience the joy of community-driven play!
