Project Overview

Are you ready to swing into fun and adventure? Then you need to check out the Lundgren Chain Reserve playground in Burwood! Thanks to the Whitehorse City Council, this small park has been transformed into a kid’s wonderland filled with excitement and laughter.

As soon as you step onto the soft mulch ground, you know you’re in for a treat there is a jitterbug for rocking and the colorful playground structure towers above you with its double wave slide, inviting you to climb up the stairs for an amazing ride down. But wait, there’s more! You can also test your strength and balance on the rope twist climber, twisting and turning your way to the top and don’t forget to take a peek into the shop front panel to explore your creative side and imagine endless possibilities.

But the real star of the show is the tornado! You won’t believe the rush of adrenaline as you fly through the air in this giant basket swing, twisting and turning to your heart’s content. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t find in any other playground.

And the best part? You can enjoy all this fun while staying cool and protected from the sun, thanks to the shade provided by the playground structure. The colors of orange, mist green, and maroon perfectly blend in with the natural surroundings, making this playground a stunning addition to the park.

So grab your friends, pack a picnic, and head on over to the Lundgren Chain Reserve playground. You’ll never want to leave!
