Main Street, Upwey

Upwey just got a whole lot more fun with the brand new playground that Safe Play has created in partnership with the community group! Nestled between the shops on Main St, in the Yarra Ranges City Council this playground is a true playground paradise.

With a perfect blend of exciting play items and premium rubber surfacing, this playground is guaranteed to keep kids of all ages entertained for hours on end. The 3p cube is the ultimate adventure zone, featuring a giant tube slide that will have kids soaring to new heights of fun. But that’s not all, a timber pommel walker connects the cube to the main junior structure, which is packed with fun features like steppers, rope climbers, a ladder and a toddler slide.

But that’s not all, the playground is also bursting with interactive panels like a kaleidoscope panel that spins, a telescope panel for little explorers, a squeeze panel for some tactile fun and even a shop front panel for imaginative play. And when the sun gets too hot, take a break under the fantastic double roof that covers the entire structure.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! The playground also features a jitterbug, which is a hybrid of a see-saw and a spring rocker, allowing kids to bounce and sway to their heart’s content and for those who love to swing, there’s a strap and toddler swing, a basket swing and even timber nature play elements around the sides of the park to balance and jump on.
