Project Overview

Russell Cochrane Park in Wodonga Council recently underwent a park upgrade, proving that no site is too small for a playground transformation. The upgrade included the installation of a quad rocker, a free standing cube, and a 3m high swing with a toddler and strap seat. The cube offers a challenging climbing experience with four sides of activities, including pommels, a rockwall climber, a spider web, a rope wall, and a rope net top to sit on once you reach the top. This playground is not only fun but also provides children with opportunities to develop their strength, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

The swing set is an A-frame design with a toddler and strap seat, providing options for children of different ages and abilities. The playground also includes picnic tables and benches, making it the perfect spot for families to relax and have lunch together. The playground is designed to be inclusive and accessible for everyone to enjoy.

The playground upgrade at Russell Cochrane Park is a great example of how even small spaces can be transformed into exciting and engaging playgrounds. It provides children with opportunities to explore, play, and develop important physical and cognitive skills. The playground is a great addition to the park, making it a fun and enjoyable place for the community to gather and spend time together.

We always love working with the City of Wodonga, they do a great amount of work on community feedback so stay tuned for their next park upgrade!
