Project Overview
Looking for a way to stay active and healthy while enjoying the great outdoors? Look no further than Stead Park in Norlane, where the City of Greater Geelong has added some exciting new outdoor fitness equipment. Using our Parkfit equipment, the council has installed a range of equipment that’s perfect for anyone looking to get fit and have fun at the same time.
At Stead Park, you’ll find a stretch station, chin ups, and a handstand wall, all of which are great for building upper body strength and improving your flexibility. If you’re looking to work on your lower body, you can use the back extension, sit up board, sit up board inclined, step up station, pull up bar or the leg lift dip bar, which are designed to help you tone and strengthen your legs and glutes. And for those who love a good challenge, there’s a vault bar that will test your upper body strength and a push up bar that will help you build your back and bicep muscles.
All of this equipment is situated on black rubber softfall, which provides a safe and comfortable surface for your workout. And the best part? It’s all free to use, so you can come and work out whenever it suits you. So why not grab a friend and head down to Stead Park today? With this exciting new outdoor fitness equipment, you’ll have everything you need to stay active and healthy in the great outdoors.
