Gallery Place, Point Cook

Safe Play has recently had the opportunity to design and install a playground for Wyndham City at Gallery Place. The playground was designed to fit a long and thin reserve, utilizing the Elevate structures, which are smaller and can make the most of tighter spaces.

This play equipment includes slides on both ends, different levels of access for easy and more advanced users, panels for toddlers, a spider web, hang n glide, monkey bars, a-frame double swing with a toddler and strap seats, a swing-a-way arched swing with basket seat and an accessible scuttle rocker. The playground design also incorporates elements that foster social interaction and imaginative play. The spider web and monkey bars encourage children to work together and help each other to climb and navigate the playground. The swings and scuttle rocker provide opportunities for children to play together and share in the joy of movement. The design also includes a variety of textures, colors and shapes that can stimulate children’s senses and help to develop their cognitive skills.

The playground also includes accessible features that make it inclusive and enjoyable for children of all abilities. The accessible scuttle rocker is designed to provide children with mobility challenges an opportunity to experience the thrill of movement, and the playground is designed with different levels of access to accommodate children with different abilities.

Overall, the playground at Gallery Place is a wonderful addition to the community. It provides a fun and engaging place for children to play and learn, and it encourages social interaction, imaginative play and physical activity.
