Gisborne Primary School

The play space we created for Gisborne Primary School in Macedon Ranges Shire is an exciting and advanced playground that is sure to inspire creativity, imagination and fun for children of all ages.

At the heart of the playground is the elevate structure, a lime green, orange and blue play structure that is as visually stunning as it is exciting to play on. The structure features a slide, fire pole, spider net, rope twist, orb, monkey bars, congo net and 3 more climbers, providing endless opportunities for children to challenge themselves, build strength and coordination, and have fun.

Surrounding the elevate structure are interactive panels that add to the cohesive look of the playground. These panels include observation panels, a clock panel and a kaleidoscope panel, providing opportunities for children to learn and engage with their environment in a fun and interactive way.

One of the highlights of the playground is the double wave embankment slide, which is surrounded by rubber surfacing, making it a thrilling and safe experience for children as they slide down the hill. Whether taking the stairs or rock steps up or down the hill, children will be delighted by the musical pipes that line the way. Made of stainless steel with different coloured bases, these pipes make a gorgeous sound and are a great sensory piece of equipment, engaging children’s senses and encouraging exploration and discovery.
