Kilberry Valley Primary School, Hampton Park – Prep Playground

At Kilberry Valley Primary School, in Casey City Council the junior school council took matters into their own hands and requested a new senior playground instead of just repairs on their old prep playground. This decision led to the replacement of both playgrounds during the school holidays, resulting in brand new spaces for the kids to enjoy.

The prep playground, in red, blue, and grey, boasts a range of exciting play equipment for kids to explore, including a 1.2m curved slide, bannister slide, spiral climber, rope twist rope wall, inclined web climber, step crossing, double wave slide, and roll over bars. Underneath the decks, there are loads of panels for imaginative play, such as a shop front panel, crawl through panel, clock panel, and steering wheel panel. The design and colors are sure to attract the attention of children, encouraging them to explore, climb and play.

With new surfacing, edging, and drainage, the playground is a safe and enjoyable place for kids to spend their break times. The senior playground is sure to be just as exciting, having been given priority due to the persuasive arguments put forward by the junior school council.
