Paisley Court, Werribee

Paisley Court, Werribee in Wyndham City Council engaged us to design an upgrade to the junior structure of one of their local parks. We proposed the elevate design, which the council found appealing due to its efficient use of space and the variety of activities it offered. The playground is divided into two circular areas, each designed to challenge and engage children of different ages and abilities.

The first area of the playground features a structure with a slide, stairs, Plank Walk, a clock panel, shop front panel, fire pole, and tube rope climber. The Plank Walk, which connects two platforms, is a great challenging activity that requires children to use their coordination, balance, and agility. The second area of the playground includes monkey rungs and bars, rope climbing walls, and a post swing with both toddler and strap seats. These activities provide plenty of opportunities for children to develop their gross motor skills and build confidence.

To make the playground accessible for all, there are bench seats for parents to rest and rubber paths for easy access with prams. The playground is designed to be inclusive and cater to the needs of children of all ages and abilities.  The playground equipment is placed strategically around the park to provide a good flow of movement and allow children to easily transition from one piece of equipment to another.
