Surrey Hills Primary School in Boroondara City Council is excited to unveil our brand new and modern playground, designed for students of all ages. The play structure features a sleek black, grey, and blue color palette and offers plenty of space for kids to spread out and play while also providing a challenging and fun fitness track for PE classes. The playground is set on a rubber base which provides a safe and comfortable surface for the kids to play on.

Start your adventure by running across our exciting burmese bridge, testing your balance and coordination as you make your way across the tricky rope twist. Use your upper body strength to conquer the ‘S’ monkey bars, building muscle and endurance. Climb through the tube net tunnel to enter the main structure, a great way to improve gross motor skills. Here, you’ll find interactive panels perfect for imaginative play, including a shopfront and counting panels, catering to different age groups and encouraging creativity and problem-solving.

As you explore the playground, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself on the rock walls, tubes, and ladders, promoting confidence, physical strength and dexterity. Test your agility and reflexes on the fire pole. Take a break and slide down the spiral slide for a thrilling finish and build up social skills by playing with other children. With so many exciting features catering to different age groups, our playground is sure to provide hours of fun and adventure for students of all ages while encouraging physical, cognitive, emotional and social development.
