Project Overview

Safe Play Australia was thrilled to deliver a vibrant, Australian-made playground for Westgrove Primary School’s junior students, designed to bring fresh energy to the school grounds while complementing existing play areas. After an initial site visit, it was clear the school wanted a bright, bold space that would stand out and support active, inclusive play.

The Brief & Design Response

Our solution featured a main play structure with multiple access points, alongside a smaller standalone element to help disperse children and encourage exploration across the playground. The design encourages climbing, coordination, imaginative play, and social interaction in a safe, accessible environment tailored to younger students.

To complete the space, we collaborated with Rubberworx to install a multi-coloured rubber surface, carefully chosen to match and enhance the playground’s colour palette. The result is a cohesive, engaging environment where junior students can move, play, and interact confidently, supporting their physical, social, and emotional development in a fun and safe setting.
